New regulations, coming into force on 30 September 2015, introduce a new prescribed legal form for a notice under section 21(1) or (4) of the Housing Act 1988 used for informing a tenant that the landlord intends to seek recovery of possession of a property let on an assured shorthold tenancy (“section 21 notice”). The new form is for use from 30 September 2015.
The new regulations apply to England only. The Assured Shorthold Tenancy Notices and Prescribed Requirements (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2015 amends the Assured Tenancies and Agricultural Occupancies (Forms) (England) Regulations 2015 to introduce the new prescribed form for a notice (Form 6A) under paragraph (1) or (4) of section 21 of the Housing Act 1988 and also makes a consequential amendment to Form 3.
Both the new legal form LT36A (Form 6A) and amended legal form LT33 (Form 3) are available in FormEvo for use from 30 September 2015.
