Small amendments are being made to the Land Registry form CIT as a result of the Secretaries of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, for International Trade and for Exiting the European Union and the Transfer of Functions (Education and Skills) Order 2016.
This order transfers certain functions of the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills and functions of the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, to the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
The order makes changes to The Land Registration Rules 2003 which are amended as follows:-
“28.—(1) In the Land Registration Rules 2003, in the following provisions for “the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills” in each place substitute “the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy”
The new November edition of this form will be available in FormEvo from 9 November 2016. Earlier versions of the form CIT will still be accepted by Land Registry if used after this date.
